The Finger!

This evening as we were winding down the day Baby Bear gave me the finger. yup!


Now first let me paint you a picture. Some cartoon was on in the background, Papa was playing on his phone, and I was on my computer while Bear's played with his cars next to me.  When Baby Bear would turn away to look at the television I would steal some of his cars and hide them. This kept up until no cars remained. Finally he caught on to what was happening and got some of his cars back. But he was still missing two of his big cars. I hinted to where they were and he found one. As he took it back he told me NO! (very sternly) I laughed. I tried to steal another car from him as his back was turned but he caught me red handed. He turned to me and squared his little shoulders up and looked me right in the eye as he pointed his little finger at me and waved it back and forth telling me NO, NO, NO!!! I almost died laughing it was so stinking cute. ha ha ha

So I said I was sorry. Then I filled his pants with all of his cars until they fell down. We were both laughing from it.

I love this little boy so very much! Could he possibly get any cuter!!!! lol

Yesterday Papa took us out to get some supper at Denny's. We couldn't find anything to feed the Bear that he would actually eat, so we thought maybe he would eat at Denny's.  He ate half a grilled cheese sandwich and that was it. But we had fun.

Papa and Bear's rolled up the place mats and used them as swords. ha ha ha This little boy sure melts his Mama's heart!

Well I am off to read some more from my book The Iron Knight before bed.

Movies and Books

As I have been organizing and downsizing stuff in my house I got rid of 3 of my bookcases, and somehow got most of the books to fit into my other bookcases. I threw some of my books into the donation box, and they all seem to fit. ha ha I organized most of the books as well. I organized them so all the series are together. They were such a mess before. 

I realised that over the last year I have been in such a bad place and so depressed that I have really stopped doing all things that represent me. I kind of shut down emotionally and just did the basics like eat, sleep, surface clean, and take care of my Baby Bear to survive. I miss me a whole lot. So I have been trying to get back to the things I love. I even pretty much stopped crafting.  I could sit in my crafting area and couldn't think of a single thing to do. I wanted to paint, scrapbook, do amazing things.......and yet I couldn't come up with enough supplies to do anything I wanted. It was really depressing.

So I opened up my iPad and picked up on a book I had stopped reading. I had stopped reading it because I am always so tired and so I figured sleeping was better for me than crafting, or reading, or anything like that. Well now it is time to do some things for me. So I started reading the Iron Queen again by Julie Kagawa.

It is part of a series about Fey. I really like the series.

I finished up reading the Iron Queen which was pretty good. Yes I stayed up late reading until I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. lol And now I have started in on The Iron Knight. It feels good to actually read books again and enjoy them.

Last night after Baby Bear went to sleep, Papa and I stayed up late to watch the movie
The Woman in Black

I was a little excited because it looked a little scary. And it has been a long time since I have found a movie that is actually scary. Most movies lead you up to the big climax and then drop you and disappoint big time!

   This movie was a little suspenseful and had a good storyline, but it was hard to follow. Like most movies nowadays it ended way to soon, and without any resolve. Grrrrrr  It didn't give enough of a story line. It was a little confusing, and then it just kills the main character and the movie ends. Ughhhh I hate wasting my time with movie duds. And it seems like most movies recently are duds.  BLAST!! And this one had so much potential. Oh well not much I can do.

Yesterday I got a lot of cleaning done, and today I need to do more. But I am really not feeling it. I hope I can find my bathing suit today and we can all go play in the pool.

Mother's Day is coming up and Papa Bear decided he wanted to take a motorcycle course on base that weekend so once again will be gone. So I am thinking of taking Baby Bear and I out on a hot date to DisneyLand that day. We will see, but I thought it might be a fun  date for Mother's Day

Great and entertaining week!

Even though my little Baby Bear has been sick all week, it has been a good week. My little bear has literally been in my lap the whole week all day long. I haven't had this much cuddle time since he was a newborn. And I have been enjoying every second of it. He is doing a lot better today and only has a cough left. But I still canceled all the weeks appointments just so we could take it easy. But I really have loved all the snuggle time I have got to have with my little man.

I do have to say I am a little jealous though. While Bear's is a whiny little boy for me all day, as soon as his Papa comes home he is a completely different little Bear. lol He hardly whines, and is so cheery it slightly makes me a little mad that he won't be that nice for me. lol But not much I can do about it I guess. ha ha ha

My little circus Bear has been learning all sorts of things. lol  Today I caught him with his leg stuck through his fisher Price little people wheelies loops and swoops amusement park. I have no clue how he got his leg that high up in it. He started laughing when he couldn't get it down. lol Ohhhh what a little troublemaker I have. ha ha ha

He got his leg stuck through the little opening with the star. Yah can you say Trouble Maker?!!! lol


My little circus Bear has learned how to make his Mama laugh so hard she cries. lol

 

My little circus Bear has learned to get himself in some odd positions. And he wasn't happy. lol

 

My little circus Bear has learned how to be a superhero even in his sleep.

 

My little circus Bear has also learned that things fit in his nose besides his finger of course. lol

My little circus Bear has learned how to properly destroy the living room by emptying the dirty close hamper all over the living room, while stripping down to his diaper, and emptying his blocks container so he can play cars in it. Yah my Bear can Multi-Task like a champ. lol

My little circus Bear has learned to re-enact scenes from movies....like E.T.

My little circus Bear knows how to ride in shopping carts in style. lol

My little circus Bear has unfortunately learned how to tell his Mama NO! Although it is really cute and hard not to laugh when he holds his hand up to stop you or even worse points his little finger at you and very sternly tells you NO in his little defiant voice!

 

My little circus Bear has learned that Scentsy Boxes are perfect life size building blocks and can get you high enough to reach things you probably shouldn't be getting into. lol

My little circus Bear has tamed and learned to ride the wild Harley. lol What a good dog.

And My little Circus Bear has learned how to "hide hide" as he says when it is time to change his diaper. sneaky little Bear!

I just love my little man. He sure knows how to entertain his Mama and keep her on her toes all the time. But he is soooooo worth it.

Poor sick Bear's

Yesterday and Today are sick days at the Three Bear's house. Poor Little Baby Bear is a sick little pup. He has a bad cough, a fever, and a runny nose. He has even taught himself how to blow snot rockets! (Oh BLAST!) He is such a little boy. lol

We have spent the last few days just sitting on the couch watching Disney Junior and Little Einsteins over and over and over.  Poor little Bear's gets off of the couch because he wants to play but alas he has no energy for it so he ends up  coming right back to me and whimpering a little asking to get back in my lap. 

So Papa got himself an RC truck and I am not sure who is more excited to play with it every day Papa or Baby Bear's. I think it might be Baby Bear. Every morning he gets up and the first thing he asks is to go play with the RC Truck. He is so fascinated with it. lol I don't know how to work the thing so I tell him he has to wait for Papa to come home. He whines and hunches his shoulders over and shuffles away crying. It is super cute and funny.  And when Papa comes home he runs outside and and asks to play with the car. He uses sign language to ask and makes car noises. It is so stinking cute.


The pool is all set up but we haven't been able to play in it yet as it has been really cold and over cast here the last few days. Hopefully next week we can test it out.

I was able to downsize three of my bookcases. I hate getting rid of my beautiful bookcases, but we have so much stuff and I need to get better at organizing and cleaning in the house and downsizing what we have. It is getting closer to moving time again and I dread it with how much stuff we have. So I am trying to make it a Little easier.
   So far we are looking at Papa deploying or us PCSing to Okinawa. We aren't sure on either. Those are just the possibilities for right now.

One of my good friends just found out that she is PCSing to North Carolina soon. I am sad to see her go. I hope we get to see each other again. Who knows where the Marine Corps will send us.

A Day in the Life.....

Today has been a pretty good day. Mama got to sleep in a little until Baby Bear decided he should wake me up by coming in the room and scaring me. Yah he is my little monster. lol

Papa took the Bear out running a few miles to the park and back, while Mama lounged on the couch. After Papa returned they got ready and went to town to play at a Hobby shop with remote control cars. I guess a local club was there and were racing cars outside of the shop and Bear's thought it was AMAZING. He jumped up and down he was so excited.

We spent the rest of the day doing things around the house. Papa and Baby Bear started setting up the pool, and I cleaned in Baby Bear's room. I hate packing up his baby clothes and toys. But then again that means that he is growing and getting a little bigger. 

Baby Bear wanted cookies so badly tonight that he was in tears over it. Baby Bear has his Mama and Papa wrapped around his little bear claw so tightly that we both caved and drove into town and got him some cookies. After he saw that we got some subway and Cheetos he decided to come over and snitch off of us as well. lol He would walk over to Papa and then walk over to Mama snitching chips and such off of us and drinking all of Mama's Lemonade. ha ha ha  He is such a little ham!! lol

Now we are watching some terrible biker movie of Papa's and I am about to turn in.

It's a Bear's life for me.

Life has been crazy here for a little while. Mama Bear feels like she isn't keeping up with life, and Bear's I think is actively helping in that department. lol

Baby Bear is getting so big. Now he isn't really growing big and tall, but I can see that he is getting bigger. My little daredevil has now taught himself to grab my Scentsy boxes or a chair and drag it over to the book shelves, table, or someplace he normally cannot reach. He drags it over and climbs up on top so he can dig through the things that Mama normally though were out of reach. BLAST!! I am in so much trouble. ha ha ha He sure knows how to keep his Mama on her toes. Oh my little boy!

His eating has not improved at all, and it worries me. Not only does he have terrible eating habits, but he also has a picky toddler appetite as well. Yup my little man will gobble up a certain food one day and the next he won't even touch it. ughhhh And he eats better if his Papa is home than if it's just us two. And Papa is hardly home for meals so that makes it even harder to get him to eat. But not much I can do about it, so I just have to keep trying.

Some things I have noticed about my little bear is that he does not like to paint, but he loves to draw and color. ha ha He adores anything with a car or truck. He plays with cars most of the day. He loves his Mega Blocks but that is mostly to make something that his cars can drive through. ha ha

Mama Bear has been actively trying to de-junk her house. But even though we have taken 4+ truck loads to the donation center, thrown away a ton of stuff, and even had the salvation army pick up a load...... it still does not seem like I have done anything. blah! I keep moving things around, trying to organize, and sort through items and get rid of stuff, but alas it feels like I am not even making a dent in this house.  But I guess I need to keep pressing forward. lol

The weather is starting to warm up here, and Papa brought home a swimming pool for the family yesterday. We are excited for it to warm up and for us to set it up. Bear's loved his little pools we have had for them, but the cheap little pools seem to only survive for a year and then they crack and break. I wish they lasted longer, but oh well. I guess that is what ya get for buying a cheap pool. ha ha

Mama and Papa surprised Baby Bear around Easter with a sand box. Well it's not really a box, but we cornered off a part of the flower garden area where Baby Bear loves to dig in the dirt. And we bought some sand and dumped it in. Papa set up some cinder blocks to keep it all in and Bear's adores it. He actually cries and gets mad when we have to bring him in from playing in his sand box. lol He says dig dig and makes the motion with his hands like he is scooping sand when he wants to go outside and play. His cuteness kills me. lol

Mama Bear has been doing pretty good with her Scentsy business. I even got selected to be part of  a pilot program with Scentsy to promote me to Director by July. So I have been working super hard to find people who would be willing to host a Scentsy party for me, and find people who want to start a Scentsy business of their own. We have 10 people on our team right now, but currently only 2-3 are actually working the business. I am trying to find a way to motivate my team but am unsure how when even I sometimes lack motivation.

Bear's favorite t.v. show is Little Einsteins he adores it. He loves when you have to pat your knees to make the rocket take off and it plays music. lol It is so cute. He copies it and follows directions on the show. I love watching him learning and growing.  His speech therapy is getting better, and he is up to 50 words now. wooohooo he is using words more and is using his babble less and less.  He still isn't talking as much as he should be, but his teacher Miss. Melaine is making  a lot of improvements with him. And he absolutely adores her. I would even go as far as saying he has a slight crush on her. lol

Mama took a big leap and let Papa buy her a motorcycle. It is a Harley Sportster. I have only been on it a couple of times and it is so scary and intimidating. I have a hard time with the clutch. It hurts my hand trying to hold it in. I hate it. But Papa says I will get used to it. And I have a hard time with letting my hand slip and giving it to much gas. It is a lot to figure out. I didn't think it wold be this big of a pain learning everything but oh well......I will eventually get it.  We will probably go out riding this weekend. Papa takes it to the church parking lot down the road for me and Baby Bear and I follow in the car. Then the boys hang out cheering for me while I try to start and stop, and do figure eights in the parking lot. It'll take some getting used to and some practice. This is for sure not something I can learn over night. And I need to build my confidence with it.

I have learned lately that I need to build my self confidence with just about everything.  I let my mind talk me out of everything and then I am afraid when I shouldn't be. So I have been working on that a lot. Taking a breath, thinking things through, and then going forward.
