MilSpouse Friday Fill-in
1-What do you see your life like in 10 years?
Wow in 10 years Riley will be 10 years old, Chuck will be close to retirement if he chooses to from the military. It makes me wonder where we will be stationed. I hope that we will have 1 or maybe 2 more kids by then. And I hope that Chuck will be MSgt. My nephew will be almost 22 years old! Wow...and I will be 40!! Aughhhh that just hurt to say!
2-What do you like most about your job?
I am a stay at home wife, and soon to be mom. I enjoy it, although sometimes I miss the fun we had at the Y.
3-What are three things you do every day, no matter what day it is?
I check my facebook! lol I feed the dogs, and pick up the house a little.
4-What would you do with an extra five hours in your day today?
If I felt better, I would be a cleaning machine!!!!
5-What is your favorite Christmas (or whichever holiday you celebrate) cookie recipe (please share!)?
Buckeye's (Peanut Butter Balls)
1 1/2 Cups of peanut butter
2 1/2 Cups of Powdered Sugar
1/2 Cup of Butter

1-Mix Peanut Butter, Powdered Sugar, Butter, and Vanilla until mixed well and semi dry and crumbly.
2-Drizzle generous amounts of Honey over ingredients and mix well. Have a little taste, and then add some more Honey as desired.
3-Shape into half inch balls
4-Dip balls into melted Chocolate, leaving the top of the ball uncovered to resemble a buckeye.
5-Place balls on wax paper lined pan and refrigerate until set.

I am so trying this recipe!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThey are really good!! I have never dipped them in chocolate, and they rarely make it to the rolled ball stage. I never even follow the directions either. lol I just add a whole thing of P-butter, and a little more of all the ingredients. lol You really cannot mess this up. And then I just throw it in some tupperware, and in the fridge. And I snack on it here and there. I know it sounds sinful....but it is sooooo yummy!!! In fact I might need to make it right now! lol
ReplyDeleteI think I might have to try that recipe! And wow, you pick up the house a little every day? Good for you...can you come to my house? :)
